Czech Kitchen Set
This is a surplus field kitchen set for up to 10 people. It is in good condition for it's age, which seems to be at least 50 years old. The carrying case was expertly repaired and the cook set itself is in very good condition.
One of the knives was missing. I replaced it with a paring knife. The can opener is a large P-38 type. I call it the B-52. The cutting board is wood. I have replaced it with a plastic cutting board.
The Czech Army, as most Warsaw Pact armies of the day, served hot soup in the field. This cookset is designed to meet that need. It is made of aluminum. The butcher knife is simple with a wooden handle. It has seen considerable use.
I have packed the small pot with spices and a cleaning kit as well as a small stove for cooking. Overall, a good piece of kit. -
