Government calls them Boot Extreme Cold Weather N-1B. Boots have a high canvas top aprox. 18 in. tall with heavy-duty zipper 11 in. long. Bottom of boot is black rubber with laces like a regular boot, draw string at top of boot to keep out snow. Sturdy traction sole. A legitimate mukluk at an amazing price
I’ve been wearing a pair of $$$ Steger mukluks for several years. These ones are 90% as good as those for a fraction of the price. This retailer includes all 4 felt insoles and the wool liner along with the shells, which some other retailers split up and sell separately for a higher total price. The laces are for the fit, while the zipper and top drawstring are how you get in and out. If you’re on the small end of the range (like I wear a 10 so bought the 10-12) you can tighten them until the eyelets are touching. If you’ll be wearing them routinely, you might trim the laces; if you’re keeping them in the car as winter safety gear like I am, probably leave the laces long - and get a second pair for your passenger!

Bought 3 pairs
I ordered 3 different sizes for different members of the family. Two were new and one was lightly stained but seemed to be new. They include the liner and are proving to be very warm. My daughter wore hers in snow and her feet were toasty. We will be using these on the Iditarod Trail in a few weeks and believe they will be warm enough when the temps drop below 0 degrees. Love that they are light weight and comfortable.

Excellent condition. Liners included. No shoestrings. The liners will have to be worn a while to smooth out the fold left by storage. I wear size 10 boots and ordered medium 9/10. Medium is too small with thick socks and the liners. I am waiting for an exchange to large to be fulfilled. Authorization of that return request was rapid.
