40mm Ammo Box

My question was promptly answered.The box is much sturdier than the new metal box I found locally.

GREAT ITEM

The can is fine, but there was rust on the lid and on the bottom. It was also dusty like it had been sitting in the warehouse for years. It would have been nice if they just sprayed it off before they sent it to me. I had to clean it and then put WD40 on it so that I could scrub the rust off. Not the biggest deal, just annoying. Also they left all the original military lot numbers on, I am pretty sure they're supposed to be covered up. Not sure about that though, but when I was an ordnance specialist in the Navy, we had to spray out the lot numbers on the can before we were allowed to take one home.

Bought these to use as Pannier boxes on my dual sport motorcycle. They are exactly what I was looking for, large amount of space, and very affordable! Look great too!

This is a larger Ammo can. Just what I needed to store a scissors jack, lug wrench and jack crank wrench.

I just got 3 of these and they are in great shape! Pretty much exactly as pictured: small surface rust spots on exterior corners from sitting outside. Interior is perfect as well as the lid seal.
