Trays are stackable and nest on to the top of each ammo can, giving you the ability to stack them tall. Ammo cans sold separately. MAC50 hold 3 50 Cal. Metal ammo cans securely in their slots and each tray will hold up to 100 lbs. Metal ammo cans have a tendency to rust when stored on certain floor types, the tray holds them 3/8" off the floor. I’m really happy with this rugged plastic tray. I’m able to load and push hundreds of ponds of ammo with very little effort. They stack nicely 4 high and I’d guess you could go much taller and still be very stable. Way better than a metal rack system in my opinion.
These things are well built and have the capability of strapping them down or together through the slots adjacent to the carry handles.
