SHOP NOWVietnam Jungle Boots: Genuine Government Issue!! Rare Find: Most are dated 1966 to 1970 and were packed in sealed cartons. Unused look to be fresh as the day they were packed. Color is Olive Drab Nylon uppers with black leather bottoms with screen vents to keep your feet cool and dry. Spike Protective. These are very comfortable to wear or use for your military collection. Compare these to the copies they make today and you can instantly see the difference in quality. Some are regular lug traction bottoms and some are the deeper lug traction bottoms called panama tread. These jungle boots are great. Like the description says, these are genuine surplus and they are the real deal. I was skeptical at first because I had to get order a narrow width, but after a few days of wear and a couple coats of oil they fit perfectly just like my old issued boots.
