U.S. Army wool field shirt was made for the Army in the 1950's. One of the best shirts you can buy for hunting, ice fishing, or work. This shirt has a tight weave and helps repel moisture. U.S. Army Wool Field Shirt is extra-heavy weight wool with two large pockets with button down flaps. New. OD Color Note: Not all shirts have the patch above the pocket. NEW CONDITION

Very nice wool shirt, the one I received looks like NOS. It is well made out of heavy weight wool blend. I liked it enough to buy more.
The field shirt I received is NOS and in mint condition. It is a nice heavy weight wool shirt perfect for hunting on cold days. As far as usgi uniforms go, I wear Medium-Regular and the shirt I ordered is a size medium, it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this shirt if your a fan of wool clothing, get it before they're gone.
For reference: I am 5’9,” 135 lbs, chest 40.” The Medium fits great. The shirt I received had never been worn or removed from packaging- still had the pins in place. Quality fabric, solid buttons, can be worn tucked in or out, classic color, and hard to find solid construction. Overall, a tremendous value. After initial inspection and try on, immediately ordered a second one.
I originally bought one of this shirt for myself not expecting much, but I was blown away by the quality and thickness of the material. This shirt is extremely warm and composed of 80% wool. I had looked at other similar shirts in other stores which were composed of only 50% wool/50% rayon and they were being sold for +$100, and the thickness of the material was nowhere near this thickness of this material. I was so impressed with this shirt I went back and bought one for my brother-in-law and father-in-law, and it is now my go-to winter gift for anyone. The price is unbeatable, the quality is incredible, I cannot vouch for this garment enough. I am going to keep buying them before they realize that to find another garment of this quality at this price is impossible! You will not be displeased. I bought the medium and I normally wear a medium in t-shirts and all other garments and it's true to fit. Thank you! This heavy wool shirt was our go to while I served in the US ARMY Airborne Infantry in the late 70's in Alaska. It is worth every cent. Use as an outer layer, layer under it, wear a larger one over, This shirt is solidly made, buttons sewn well, true to size.
Very well made and in very good condition. The material is 80% wool, 20% nylon according to the label. I wear a 16x34 dress shirt and have a 42-inch chest. I ordered a medium. The shirt is a trim fit on me with just a t-shirt underneath. The sleeves are a little short but I have long arms. Nevertheless, this is a great shirt, especially for $30
