SHOP NOWGI Stainless Steel Mess Kit: 2 Piece kit includes one cooking pan and one divided pan for eating. Cooking Pan is approx. 7 wide x 8 long x 2 deep. Pan has handle that is 8 1/2 long. The cooking pan goes on the bottom of the kit and plate goes on the top then the cooking pan's handle goes over plate and hooks in metal d-ring to keep pan shut and together. Great for backpacking because of its lightweight.

US Military Mess Kit - Used
The mess kit arrived 2 days early and was in very good condition. I cleaned it up and now it is ready to go back into service. This will be my 3 year old grandson’s first mess kit and it should last him for many years to come. For anyone in the market for a mess kit I would highly recommend army surplus warehouse.
