Rare find!!! Genuine Military Issue Extreme Cold Weather Type N-3B Parkas were developed in the 1950's for the US Air Force flight crews stationed in extremely cold areas. The parkas are wind proof and lined with polyester, making them light for the level of warmth they provide. Hood is synthetic fur. The parka is 3/4 length so they cover past the waist and have draw strings that can be adjusted for a good fit. The front is complete with four pockets that all have snap closures. The parka has a zippered front as well as a button closure storm flap for extra protection. Jacket has one sleeve zipper pocket. These are brand new, still sealed in an airtight bag.
Well made. Appears very durable. The 'snorkle' hood much better than that on commercial parkas. You could easily pay double the cost of this in a sporting goods store. Very pleased.
