Nylon Duck Water Bag Forest Service

Unissued condition, in the original packaging. You get an outer carrying bag (nylon duck) with straps, along with the inner plastic water bag. Much like a more modern hydration pack. The specs say 4 quarts. But due to arrangements of the water bag in the carrying pouch, I'd say 3 quarts is the practical level. Despite that, these are handy packs to have around. Enough water for an overnight (cooking, cleaning). For the price point, won't find a better vessel.

Despite the manufacture date of this item, these are shocking new and bright. The nozzle/spout is similar to the kind you’d find on ‘box wine.’ It’s a bit out of date, but serviceable. I plan to use a more modern ‘camel’ style insert. The only downside is that this pouch smelled. I’m not sure if it’s the insert or the pouch or that they were in storage so long, but it needed to ba aired out for a while and Febreezed.
