Product Description
U.S. Helmet Liner. Made from fiberglass with removable suspension band inside. Olive Drab Color. Used condition. We sell a lot of these to collectors or to kids playing army because the steel helmets are so heavy that the liners look the same but weigh a fraction of what the steel helmet does.

I've been looking for an original fiberglass Liner for a while to go in my swivel bale. Firestone was one of the companies that manufactured these. Awesome piece of History!

M1 helmet liner
Bought two. Both with fixed “A” holders, both in very good shape, both dated in the late 60s (67/68)… went great with my Vietnam helmet restoration project… Very pleased!

M1 helmet liner
The M1 liner I received was in good condition. It is of later manufacture and has the distinctive orange appearance. It is stamped M 14. The construction of the liner is a thicker laminate and the suspension system is the later snap in type. There is some fraying around the rim of the liner as is common. Overall however, I am very pleased with my purchase.
