U.S. Steel Helmet (Front Seam): These helmets are olive drab and are used in good condition, may have some small dents and minor rust. Overall a very nice helmet for the age. Swivel Bail. No chin straps. Does not include the helmet liner, they are sold separately.

M1 Front Seam Helmet
I ordered one in Jan 2022 and received a Schlueter helmet, heat stamp 251A. It was dirt covered and had a dent in the crown I popped out using a wooden baseball bat and gentle persuasion. I believe it has it's original paint, a darker, weathered OD with the cork texturing. It came with the post-Nam metal clip-on chin straps. I do WWII reenactment and with repro chin straps installed, it looks fantastic. I have recommended ASW to others for these M1s and at this price you can't beat it! Will definitely buy another one in the future, thanks.

Incredible Experience
I originally received a helmet with excellent finish but a few hairline cracks I worried about. ASW allowed me to exchange for another, and I couldn't be happier. No heat stamp, but it has Vietnam-era trench art and chin strap. Top notch helmet and top notch customer service. Can't wait to order again!
