U.S. Steel Helmet: These helmets are olive drab and are used condition, may have some small dents and minor rust. We sell a lot of these to collectors for displays on their military vehicles in shows. Most are Korean era. No chin straps. Does not include the helmet liner, they are sold separately. These do not have chin straps.  They have the bales to hook straps to but no straps. Helmet is as is, may have dents and cracks. We are down to the last few helmets in stock and we will be out of stock for good. 
 
 
 
 
These helmet have to be sorted and gone through to insure that the helmet is acceptable to ship. This can be a lengthy process and takes some time. If you order a helmet it can delay your order 5-10 days at this time.

    Bought 4 helmets. Three have visible heat stamps, and all have very solid finish. Another great buy from ASW!

    I purchased one of these shells as a gift for a Korean War veteran. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Korean War-era helmet that turned out to be manafactured by Schlueter, which is considerably less common than those made by McCord. One of the bales was starting to separate at a weld, but considering this was intended to be used as a display, that was no big deal. I would absolutely order one of these again... and again... and again!

    I've ordered a number of these and nearly all have been good condition, usable shells. I requested some with nice paint on my last order and got some really sharp looking lids!

    Well I have in all purchased 4 M1 shells from you guys and every one great, one even had the sewn son chinstrap, all in great condition. FORGET Ebay trying to find a shell. Would not mind getting another.
