Needle Loom style weave
Listing details need to mention SPECIFICALLY that this is needle-loom style (“edge-joined”) webbing, it is not a shuttle style/continuously woven uniform tube webbing. This 1 inch tubular webbing, instead of being woven as a smoothly even tube, is essentially instead woven as a 2 inch strip of flat webbing that is folded over on itself, and then stitched together on one side, with the joined side, having a noticeably thinner nylon thread strand, and looser edge, which adds significant change to the shape and strength profile. This is not Style 1, it is Style 1a. Other than not receiving the expectation of what is known as “Military Spec” webbing, and the increased ease of this webbing unraveling, due to the undisclosed weave nature absent in the description, the shipping and packaging was without issue.
