Back to order more of these, after buying a pair several years ago as a work boot. They're easily the best general purpose work boot I've owned. The only issue I ran into is the flashing (razor thin) sections of rubber left over in between the outer edges of the boot lugs, need to be trimmed. Else when/if they crack they can cause a split into the sole. Otherwise there was practically no break in period for them. I can run, crouch and do almost anything else I'd do in tennis shoes with these. I'm still wearing my original pair but I bought a backup set, because you cannot beat this price!

I was so excited to find these and in my size! These are the real deal GI boots with the date code and correct sole markings. The padded collar and speed laces were a bonus. Very happing with them and with Army Surplus Warehouse. I actually ended up ordering a second pair since these are getting more rare.

The pair I recently purchased have a much improved sole, especially in the heel. Boots purchased last year had deep tread grooves and lug were unusually high which caused them to break off in small chunks with hard use on rocky terrain. The new boots have reinforced the heel area with additional material giving a shallower tread and much sturdier looking lugs.

These boots are great and fit good. They remind me of the ones I wore in Viet Nam only they were green and black. thank you. DES!
