Military Surplus GI Black Jungle Boot
I'd been wearing the old Viet Nam era black leather boots with the chevron soles for decades and recently switched to these Panama tread jungle boots which I like a lot more than the old chevron style. Uppers are lighter, boots are easier to put on and take off with the speed lacing and tread is easier to clean. I shouldn't have waited so long to switch. Great comfortable boots. No real break in period compared to the older boots I was wearing.

Very Good Boots.
You could pay 150 for boots and not be as comfortable than these. If they make your feet sore, you need to toughen your feet. I've been wearing boots since I was 12 and the only boots I've found more comfortable than these are ACU boots. If you walk in dangerous terrain, the anti spike shank is very nice.
