Rare Find!! Original Government Issue: Used-Good Condition! OD canvas intrenching tool cover. Adjustable belt hook back. Front closure is snap style. Made to fit standard wood handle folding E- tool. NSN# 8465-261-4993
Very sturdy with canvas duct material, same material for military tents. has a opening at the bottom for non-folding handle.
The cover was not as nice as the one in the picture, but was worth what I paid for it. Shipping was prompt and I have no complaints.
The one sent to me was unissued. Had storage grime but mint condition!
I have looked for this cover for years, it is a replacement for my dad's that was lost over time. It is even slightly worn like dad's !
Shovel was 'King of the Trenches' during WW1 & absolutely mandatory for any excursion into the outdoors. This carrier is so much better than trying to lash something to a backpack.
