Military Issue Thread 1 lb spool Sage Green

Based on my research on the label, this spool of thread was produced in 1973. Could’ve fooled me because it appears to be in brand new condition, and it came in a plastic bag with a label matching the one on the spool, which I assume is its original packaging. I haven’t sewn with this thread yet but I expect it will work just fine. It will take me a very long time to go through this amount of thread which is remarkable considering it cost me only a couple dollars more than the tiny spools at the craft store.

This thread is excellent for its intended purpose and 1 pound is a lot of yards! Rewinding smaller spools makes it easy to use multiple threads at the same time.

This is very tuff , strong thread . Measuring with a dial caliper , thread measures .005" ... compared to the OD green thread that Measures .015" . Excellent thread.
