Had a couple of surplus TA-312 field phones for many years, and until recently... I didn't know this existed.

Purchased two of them, and both arrived still in the original packaging - and with consecutive serial numbers.

This place had them at the lowest price that I could find, and even better - the store is only a few hours drive for me.

This is the second one of these I've purchased, and they are NEW (old-stock), still in the sealed government packaging. Works perfectly on my TA-312 field phones for making phone calls on the telephone system or through my SB-22 switchboard. Plus, you can't find them anywhere cheaper than ASW!

Received the unit and was very surprised, but happy, that it is 100% new (old stock), still in the government foil packaging! It works perfectly with my TA-312 field phones. Fast shipping, too!

As advertised, very satisfied! Takes a 6V alkaline Duracell "J" available at Amazon.

Got these to work with my TA-312 phone. Was able to hook the phone up to a house phone jack and dial a call. Worked great! Only note of caution. Nowhere does it say you need batteries (6v) to make this work. The type of battery needed is a "Type J" cell (medical device). Also known as 7K67, 4LR6, 539. Not many places had that type of battery in stock. If you are planning to use it when you open the package, you'll need to have those batteries on hand or make a 6v adapter.
