Spreader piece for aluminum netting/antenna poles:

Used one of these with the fiberglass Netting poles to build an antenna mast. drilled a hole in the top of this piece to allow adding the final antenna pole above the spreader and attached 4 guy wires to stabilize the mast. Results are a stable 36 foot mast allowing me to pick up TV stations reliably from 60 to 70 miles away.
I prefer the round spreader piece by far over the adjustable paddle type. 1.) far easier for one person to handle, 2.) round has no pinch points like the paddle type which often have tendency to close on your fingers, 3.) fewer parts to maintain
